The Warwick Castle is a pub restaurant in Maida Vale with consistent 4.
Pub · St Pauls
The Old Bank of England sits in a grand 1888 former bank building on Fleet Street, complete with soaring ceilings, marble columns, chandeliers, and old vaults repurposed as table bases. Families fill the two floors at weekends, drawn by generous Sunday roasts (beef with Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings) and the famous pie selection — the steak and Guinness pie and chicken and mushroom pie both earn repeat mentions. There's a kids menu and highchairs available, plus buggy access through to the courtyard garden where a vintage Routemaster bus adds an outdoor seating option. "We visited with our family and our dog, and had a wonderful time," notes one regular. Reviewers mention staff member Andrew as a standout server who handles the buzz with ease even when the place is packed. The fish and chips and fried halloumi starters are reliably good. Best for a proper Sunday lunch or post-museum pint when you want historic London atmosphere without the fuss.
