Fig Tree Cafe
Sandwiches, salads & drinks in a compact coffee shop with wood interiors & rustic accents.
Café · Acton
Bridge Cafe has been owned by Gerry and Frank for over 50 years. Regulars report that the owners remember their orders and chat with Apprentice fans making the pilgrimage, and one reviewer describes being asked to pose for photos outside. It's the real deal: a proper greasy spoon serving piping hot full English breakfasts, bacon and sausage sandwiches, jacket potatoes, and sausage egg and chips alongside mugs of builder's tea. The decor's old-fashioned Formica, the vibe unpretentious. Kids are welcome with highchairs, buggy space by the door, and outdoor seating when the weather cooperates. Cash only. Head here after a morning at Acton Market or when little ones need fuelling; the breakfast sandwich crowd swears by it.
